1. Who we are

Falah ("Falah", "we", "us") is a family money-education app operated by Falah family, 0469747002 , registered at Sydney, NSW. You can reach us at  accounts@falahfamily.com.au.

2. What Falah is

Falah teaches children about earning, giving, saving and investing within an Islamic framework. A parent or legal guardian holds the account and creates a profile for each child. Children complete tasks, choose how to allocate money they receive, give a portion as sadaqah, and practise investing in halal-screened companies.

Falah does not handle real money. Every balance, payout, purchase, donation and investment in the app is simulated for learning purposes. No funds are held, transferred, invested or donated by us. See the Risk disclosure for detail.

3. Who may use Falah

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add to the account. By adding a child profile you confirm you have the authority to consent to our processing of that child's information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Children do not hold their own account. They use a profile inside yours, and you can view, edit or delete that profile at any time.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and any app-lock PIN confidential, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at accounts@falahfamily.com.au if you believe someone else has gained access.

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

5. Parental approval

Some actions a child takes practice investments, and task payouts at or above the threshold you set are held as requests until you approve or decline them. These controls are part of the product's teaching design. You are responsible for the decisions you make with them.

6. Halal screening

Companies shown in the app are selected against a halal screen, and each carries the name of the screening authority and the date it was last reviewed. Screening is a point-in-time assessment made by that authority, not by us, and standards differ between scholars and screening bodies. We present the screen; we do not certify it, and we do not warrant that any particular company remains compliant after its review date.

7. Content in the app

Lessons, tasks, causes, shop items and company information are ours or our licensors'. You may use them within the app for your family's personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, sell or build a competing product from them.

Anything you add a child's name, a savings goal, a custom task remains yours. You give us permission to store and display it so the app can work.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the app for anything unlawful; try to gain access to another family's account or to our systems; interfere with or overload the service; scrape or bulk-extract its content; or misrepresent the app's practice money as real money to anyone.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Falah available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may update these Terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email, and continuing to use Falah after it takes effect means you accept it.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Falah and delete your account at any time from the app, or by writing to accounts@falahfamily.com.au. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these Terms or that we are required to act on by law. Deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Our responsibility to you

Falah is an educational tool provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any financial decision made on the basis of what the app teaches or displays.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, and in those places your statutory rights are unaffected.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], and the courts of [governing jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
